ABS had been given two challenges. First, were budget constraints and second, were time constraints. Working with many Charter Schools in the State of Florida, budgets are continually getting reduced but the need for additional space is not. After leasing, used modular buildings for many years this particular organization wanted to start fresh with new buildings and own them. After many discussions, we were able to determine and meet the design criteria and specifications within their budget.
Next, were the time constraints. We were not able to start this project until school ended and the existing buildings removed. Fighting the Florida rain, we were able to deliver and set-up these (4) four modular classroom buildings in just 5 days.
This modular classroom project included (4) 24’ x 70’ size modular buildings, equaling 1,680 square feet each, which had two classrooms with a restroom in each. It also featured Hardi-Panel Siding with a Shingle Roof with a 12” roof overhang on all four sides. Prefabricated concrete steps and ramps and a poured sidewalk provide wheelchair accessibility and are virtually maintenance free.
With the growing number of students, this organization stepped forward to provide a quality modular building that people could feel good about sending their children to learn in. It was our job to provide this Charter School with the best materials, price and service.
