  • All modular buildings have the same generic layout

Those who believe this myth simply do not understand the depth of modular construction technology. The fact is, there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ model that all modular buildings must adhere to. The purpose of modular construction is to allow for a greater realm of design possibilities. If all buildings had the same layout, the technology would not be inherently sustainable.

  • Modular buildings are not as durable as traditionally-constructed buildings

While it may seem plausible that the lack of initial foundation may be sufficient enough to reduce the durability of any given modular building, the truth is that modular construction allows for the same durability as other construction methods.
