Amalie Oil needed to expand its corporate office at Port of Tampa with a modern headquarters that would better support its growing operations. The existing site-built office complex had become inefficient, creating a need for a more functional and consolidated workspace while maintaining an appearance that complemented the company’s warehouse facilities.
Having previously partnered with ABS on an IT building project, Amalie Oil selected ABS to design and construct its new headquarters based on the quality and service provided on the earlier project.
The new 42′ x 105′ modular office building includes 15 private offices, 5 restrooms, a reception area, IT room, and kitchen. The building was constructed with 2×8 floor joists at 12″ O.C. and delivered with bare flooring to allow the owner to install their preferred finishes.
To achieve a modern corporate appearance, ABS incorporated Hi-Rib steel siding on two sides to match existing warehouse facilities and CraneBoard insulated siding on the remaining sides, along with 12″ roof overhangs.
Custom electrical layouts were also coordinated to align with furniture plans, creating a plug-and-play workspace.
Amalie Oil now has a modern, efficient headquarters that consolidates operations into a single functional workspace, providing room for continued growth while maintaining the professional image of one of the nation’s leading oil companies.
